I think it would be interesting if areanet implemented some stats on their website aside form the usuals.
For example, I think if they conducted small surveys occasionally with information like which country people live in (I am interested to see the spread of Guild Wars players between not only the continents like North America, Asia, Australia, Europe, but also the individual european or south american countries) for people to browse and see that percentage weighting of people who play from each country. Another idea along these lines is archiving some stats. To use another example, the current guild rank listing win Win/Loss ratio etc. could be broadened with an archive of all-time win-loss ratios and number of weeks spent at No. 1 ranking and highest rank ever achieved. This would lead to interesting discussions on who was the all-time greatest guild, who was the best of their era and how would those older ones do up against newer era top line guilds. Anyone have any additions or critisism of this? |
